On the right, people are using the levers of real power. On the left they’re yelling about things on Twitter. These are the same, to me.

You can automate processes all you want, but ideas will remain the true currency. If it threatens you that more people can easily make art now, you should consider whether your ideas have any value beyond your technical skills, and if not, it’s time to get new ideas.

Text-to-image AI tools open up visual creativity to a vast blue ocean of new people who have never been able to visualize their ideas before because they lack the technical talent or have disabilities or maybe capitalism has stolen the time it would take to paint their ideas.

A common elder wisdom when I was a kid was that "you won't make any money being an artist!" Art, they said, is a fine hobby, but not a practical career path. I proved them wrong, but art is BETTER as a hobby. Let robots make ads for Pepsi and pay us to live so we can make OUR art
