    What we know so far:
    - this was an unmanned aircraft, likely launched from Ukraine, likely a Tu-141 reconnaissance drone from the 70s
    - both 🇷🇺 and 🇺🇦 deny it's theirs
    - it entered 🇷🇴 (NATO) airspace at 23:23 EET (22:23 CET) and entered 🇭🇺 airspace at 23:26 EET

Tesla Solar was a shit show. They took a month from $100 deposit to actually contact me. Took another 2-3 months for a first inspection. They went silent for 4-5 more months until I called up my rep (my rep changed 3x in this timeline) and they said my roof failed the inspection.
    Aaron Parecki
oh gosh, ask me about my Tesla panel experience some time... (actually it was me taking over a Solarcity lease and then Tesla bought them)

    From a CEO:

“Every time a competitor mentions return to office our recruiters reach out to their people. We’ve hired 15+ of their engineers in the last 2 months.”

    So easy.

In 1994, Jeff Bezos famously spotted a stat that made him leave his high-paying PE job to start Amazon:

💡 The Internet was growing 2300% per year.

What are the generation-defining stats of today?

I'll post a few to kick things off...

Why do the call the Mac Studio “Modular”? It’s no more modular than a Mac mini.
    Aaron Parecki
Give me a Mac Mini I can stick a PCIe card into! That's modular

Uh… WTF. Wife just got new MacBook Pro from work. From Apple, still in plastic wrap. Employer didn’t preconfigure before handing over. Boots it up AT HOME, and once connected to our wifi, it brings up her “company name can manage this computer”. Um, what? Preconfigured by Apple?
    Aaron Parecki
I got my new work laptop this way two weeks ago too. It was a bit surreal watching it transform from a generic shrink wrapped Apple laptop to a corporate robot machine in front of my eyes

Maybe I misunderstood the sentence but I was expecting something like « OpenID Connect is covered in more details in *some chapter* » with a link to the chapter.
    Aaron Parecki
Oops I was looking at the wrong sentence. You're right, looks like something went wrong with the pre processor that adds the chapter links.

What is the absolute closest thing to GitHub Gist that can be self-hosted?

In terms of design and functionality. Hosts images and markdown, rendered. Creates links that can be private or public. Uses/requires registration.

I have looked at dozens of pastebin-like things.

  • Should you record on the ATEM Mini or use an external HDMI recorder?

Let's see what the difference is between recording with the built in recording feature on the ATEM Mini vs recording with an external high quality recorder like a Blackmagic Video Assist.
