Cryptocurrency is like taking the worst parts of today's capitalist system (eg. corruption, fraud, inequality) and using software to technically limit the use of interventions (eg. audits, regulation, taxation) which serve as protections or safety nets for the average person.

Space is going to end up the same as Earth, except even shittier because they can charge for air up there too.

The billionaire class is going to space decades after government did it first, using surplus resources that should have gone to finance that government but didn’t, and then using that dubious achievement as proof that they are more efficient than government.

(The flipside of this is, I approached investing the same way. My strategy over the past 20+ years has been to buy Vanguard funds and then forget about them. All things considered, that’s done pretty damn well.)
