JavaScript analytics are for the feeble-hearted. I worked out how to detect print events using CSS only:
@media print {
html {
background-image: url('https://example.org/im-printing-now');
}
}
Browsers won’t request that image until the user prints. Grep for that in server logs. -
Playing with http://indielogin.com and it's pretty spiffy - I can authenticate as my domain using my PGP key. Now I'm looking into using more bits of the p3k system https://indieweb.org/p3k from @aaronpk to add bits of #indieweb dynamicness to my simple static site.

Looks interesting. My Cisco telepresence gear does that. But the Cisco stuff was a wee bit more than $200 and a lot harder to set up.
yeah this is like a baby version of that, but it's entirely plug and play, no drivers even -

Two questions: what’s the gimbal-looking thing sitting on top of the left monitor?
That camera seems rather high up. Do you tend to look at the camera or the screen when presenting?
It's an OBSBOT camera, I've been trying it out, it follows your face around the room.
The DSLR is actually basically at eye level when I'm sitting down. I do decently well at looking into the camera while presenting except when I'm doing live coding. -
