Maybe they're just confused because they think it's always a good thing when your shit goes viral but someone needs to let them know what's going on

This guy I used to date got SO ANGRY if I “walked too loudly” in his house. Now he has a bunch of noisy kids and I’m fully enjoying his adorable karma.

Ugh. I have an integration with Webex that turns on a red light outside my office when I join a meeting. So my wife knows not to walk in talking.

I played with doing it for zoom last week, found the APIs aren’t there.

But only when you’re the host, right? I didn’t see a way with their api to do it for any meeting you join, without the host authing the integration.
    Aaron Parecki
It's way hackier than that! It's an app running on my computer that watches when zoom is in a meeting!

It only took 6 months, but my website now shows when I'm in a Zoom meeting!

emotionally speaking, it's interesting to me that I keep having the thought that I couldn't possibly hate this man more than I already do, & yet, no, I get proven wrong over & over again: there are always new depths of hatred I haven't yet accessed, new terrain to explore

This is a good time to remind folks in the US that a lot of places aren’t requiring you to wait for Election Day to vote, if you feel fired up from the debate, you may be able to do something about it now!

Scanning through old photos I found a “the world still exists” party we had in 2012 at the end of the Mayan calendar. Seems like something to bring back again in 2021.
