It only took 6 months, but my website now shows when I'm in a Zoom meeting!

(Thanks to @jf for the excellent Hammerspoon integration that makes this possible!)

That’s very cool! Thanks for sharing it. I have a similar goal to you, @akalsey. I would like to have a small light outside my office when I am on a zoom call (or when I am streaming with OBS Studio). This looks like an interesting path to pursue.

The APIs aren't there, but thanks to Hammerspoon you can get *pretty* close. It's not 100% reliable like an API would be, but it's reliable enough that I use it on a daily basis.

I could also just keep using the Flic button I’m using today. Press once for red. Double tap for green. Long press for off.

Ugh. I have an integration with Webex that turns on a red light outside my office when I join a meeting. So my wife knows not to walk in talking. I played with doing it for zoom last week, found the APIs aren’t there.

It's way hackier than that! It's an app running on my computer that watches when zoom is in a meeting!

But only when you’re the host, right? I didn’t see a way with their api to do it for any meeting you join, without the host authing the integration.
