Remember how I always say make sure you audit your third-party JavaScript you embed in your apps, especially in your login pages? Classic example right here, someone inserted malware into the @Twilio SDK because it was in a publicly writable S3 bucket. 😱 https://www.twilio.com/blog/incident-report-taskrouter-js-sdk-july-2020

#IndieWeb is difficult and confusing. I can imagine the fright of an average user landing on a login page and wondering what to do or what's a good way to get set up.

Here's a preliminary login page that's supposed to help close the gap.

What pains me about the “NYC is done” & “leaving SF forever” crowd isn’t that they’re leaving (I get it) but the attitude that the city was something to take & now that it faces adversity, they’re gone.

Cities are not products you consume—they require participation & investment.

I'd love to join! I tried registering, but now I'm stuck in a loop being redirected between the .co.uk and .com eventbrite pages. Where is the actual meeting link published?

Update: I found it! I had to log in at both the .co.uk and .com websites and it finally figured out that I am registered!

Nice, Git 2.28 makes it easy to use main or something else instead of master for your root branch! https://lore.kernel.org/git/xmqq5za8hpir.fsf@gitster.c.googlers.com/. It looks like it’s already in the PPAs for Ubuntu too! https://launchpad.net/~git-core/+archive/ubuntu/candidate

I'll say it again the folks in the back - Medium is not a blog. It's another walled garden like Facebook. Own your words or they can take them from you.

The fact that Amazon seemingly at random decides if my returns should be dropped off at UPS or Kohls (UPS preferred) with the other costing a % of my refund if I wish to choose the other is UTTER bullshit.
The last thing I want to do during a pandemic is walk in a Kohls to return
    Aaron Parecki
For me it correlates with whether I choose a return reason that is "my fault" or not.

Website description is wrong? Amazon pays

    "No longer needed"? I pay

I’m trying to get more people to open up about their #YouTube analytics so that Creators can see what’s real.

Today I want to tackle Sub/View Ratios and Subscribers not being a strong view source.

Any screenshots you are comfortable to share helps.

Oh wow! @HP just gave me a copyright strike on a video from 2009 that THEY contractually asked ME to appear in as talent, and post. Time to figure out who's issuing poorly-researched strikes 11 years later! 🙄
