Hey @Linode why do you have so many ad trackers on your *login* domain? Of all places that's where you want to use as little 3rd party JS as possible!

Visiting login.linode.com loads trackers from Facebook, Doubleclick, Impact Radius, Oktopost, Linkedin, Google Ads, Bing
    Aaron Parecki
(btw I have some other security concerns with your login flow too, happy to follow up with this privately)

That’s surprising and concerning. Was considering it for a website (due to its attractive pricing)...
    Aaron Parecki
It's very strange. I've been using them for 10+ years and have been extremely happy with the service, so this is confusing to me.

7/ Implement notifications (ideally both email and phone push notifications) for every critical operation in the account lifecycle (email change, password reset, turn off second-factor, account linking)

If you're looking at new camera announcements and just reacting to the K count, you're not looking hard enough.
Honestly this kills me about camera discourse. The K-war isn't what actually matters. There is no "perfect resolution" and if you took "12K" from the BMD announcement
    Aaron Parecki
Totally. tbh it reminds me of the megapixel wars of digital cameras 20 years ago.

    Aaron Parecki
Argh I noticed that too! Apparently Adobe hasn't shipped an update for the ZV-1 raw format yet 😞

Also, it's impossible to describe the chaos inherent in dealing with the account lifecycle issues of the general public. The breadth of ways people lock themselves out of services that are critical to their lives is breathtaking, and we can't just ignore those folks.

There are many changes that Twitter can make to reduce the risk from customer service functions, such as creating two-person flows and performing risk-based auth.

No coverage of this issue should ignore that major mobile providers are still struggling with stopping SIM swaps.
