What does that look like for the person receiving??
    Aaron Parecki
You get a little notification that someone liked your email, and then you can also see a list of everyone who liked the email! I guess it's pretty well done.

Why is there not a "like" or "thumbs up" equivalent in email? ๐Ÿ˜ญ I need them to know I got it but it definitely doesn't constitute a *reply* "Sounds good!" *send*
    Aaron Parecki
Outlook 365 has a "like" button for email and I will say it is a very strange experience to get these likes in work emails.

I'm in Europe, I'll betcha it would cost more in postage than making the sticker itself, lol!

@aaronpk zomg. I semi-randomly navigated to https://oauth2simplified.com/ and scrolled... and saw the cat.
The Mystery of the Cat Sticker I've had on a now-dead laptop (I was at some dev meetup and we did a sticker-swap) is solved! It's old tho, doesn't have yellow eyes.

I'm happy to send you a new one if you want!

MyPOV - Dear @satyanadella please take off the first day after #MSBuild that is available to review the Identity mess @Microsoft has created over the last 20 years. I am tired having to reset passwords every day. MS Users have a few accounts... solutions exist. Let's do it.

Iโ€™ve been pondering why images in mirrors are flipped L-R but not up-down.
Iโ€™ve concluded that itโ€™s because, when we turn to face a mirror, we invariably prefer turning about a vertical axis (thereby staying the right way up) than a horizontal one (and flipping ourselves over).

We would say to our kid โ€œyouโ€™ve watched enough tv. Go play.โ€ So this morning he asks me, โ€œhave I watched enough TV?โ€. Guess itโ€™s time to phrase things differently.

Every 6 months I watch a video with the explanation, then I say โ€œof course, it makes sense nowโ€. Then time passes. Rinse repeat.

I'm spending a part of my quarantine learning After Effects, finally. I'll probably never consider myself an animator, but being able to move things around the way I used to in Flash (and still feel sort of relevant) will be good for me.
    Aaron Parecki
After Effects feels eerily similar to Flash in some ways.
