Travelers β€” is a 13” MacBook Pro usable in economy class? β€˜Cause the 15” is nearly impossible to use.
    Aaron Parecki
It's tight but doable. I definitely prefer using my 12" MacBook on planes.

Platforms kill ownership. Post everything, and I mean everything, to your own websites. Link from platforms, sure, but don’t cede your control to the social giants. They don’t care about you. #IndieWeb

OK, back to Blackboard! It’s actually designed to look extremely attractive to the administrators (not professors and definitely not students) who make purchase decisions. Since they can't easily test usability, they instead make comparisons based on… checklists of features. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

Blackboard is 20 years old. If Twitter is around in 20 years, let's see how this prediction holds up. And now I have to go rescue a three-month old from an extremely cute and equally uncomfortable outfit.

I had a couple hours in DC before my flight so I went to the International Spy Museum! It was a pretty fun collection of exhibits and random artifacts from the last couple hundred years of espionage history.

Hm, after reading their wiki and FAQ, I don't see the value in supporting IndieAuth instead of just allowing the user to specify an arbitrary OpenID Connect provider?
    Aaron Parecki
Most OpenID Connect providers require pre-registration of clients, which kind of defeats the purpose. Here's some more background: https://aaronparecki.com/2018/07/07/7/oauth-for-the-open-web
