See, now, I read that as OAuth, which is the no.1 most powerful sign that I have been working in this industry too long I have yet experienced.
heck I can't even type Oath without my fingers typing out OAuth instead -

I *worked* at Oath and I *constantly* read it as OAuth.
There was someone from Oath at a recent OAuth working group meeting which wasn't confusing at all -

Can you clarify which early-access feature that is? I didn't think this required anything special, I tested it with my developer account that has no special privileges. -

Decided to re-activate my @Flickr Pro.
New owner @SmugMug has been around for years and is passionate about photos. Theyβve responded well to criticisms & suggestions (preserving CC photos). @DonMacAskill did an AMA recently that showed a lot of care and thoughtfulness: https://www.reddit.com/r/photography/comments/a71mh3/hi_my_name_is_don_macaskill_and_im_the_cofounder/
One example: βWe are actively saving accounts for photographers who are no longer with usβ.
Dear @Flickr, here are a few more to save. I lost a good friend last year (flic.kr/cindyli @CindyLi enwp.org/Cindy_Li), another the year before (flic.kr/bmindful @tedr), and another years ago (flic.kr/thebrad). Iβm sure there are many more early Flickr users who have since passed away. Please speak-up if you know of any.
Flickr already has the best API of any photo site, and thus has the best Brid.gy support for IndieWeb sites wanting to syndicate to Flickr, and backfeed responses.
I have more positive thoughts about @Flickrβs future potential with its new owners, especially with respect to even better IndieWeb integration. Β More on that later. For now, see the additional research and links being collected and documented by the IndieWeb Community:

Totally depends on the other constraints. Wifi location is probably the best for general purpose location everywhere. Bluetooth/NFC can get you super accuracy but of course requires installation at the venue.

You using the WebKit web payment api stuff for Apple Pay ? I was looking at it the other day as it also offers google wallet in the same code for chrome users.
Keep in mind all it does is collect the credit card info, you still need an actual payment gateway to do something with the card. -

HMU with your #photography workflow. How do you keep your photos straight, especially over a time-span of decades?
I'm particularly interested in how #indieweb folks approach this.
Right now most of my old photos are in Flickr π
I'm working on a new solution where I just store stuff on hard disks so it's easier to back up. I want to find a good organizational layer on top to add tags but haven't found anything I like yet.
