@dalton In my experience the only personal analytics utilities I've been able to consistently use are ones that require no additional effort. Examples: Wiithings Scale, Fitbit, Jawbone UP. I'm most interested in using the Fitbit/Jawbone for tracking my sleep. #quantifiedself

@skry That would be pretty neat, but I doubt there is a way to actually post HTML To app.net unfortunately. Could probably be done with annotations and a custom client tho.

@skry It was supposed to give you links to "reply on Twitter or app.net" on the note page, but something was broken. Hopefully that's fixed now.

@aaronpk you know your links in your tweets don't work on a lot of apps :\
    Aaron Parecki
@oscargodson They aren't links unless there is more content than what was pushed to Twitter. I think I'm going to change that behavior right now since this isn't the first time someone has been confused.

Demo post (for @indiewebcampUK) -- demonstrating my posting UI. After the text gets too long it truncates automatically and adds a citation link. Hashtags are preserved. #indieweb

I just woke up from a dream where we crash landed a plane at the Portland airport but it landed in the 60s. I spent the rest of the time exploring Portland in the past and trying to figure out what to wear. Also there was no Internet and my cell phone didn't work. #dream

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
