No GUI. Used the lite version of the RPI installer on pi4 hardware, and works great. The key is bash -c 'cvlc' so when the stream stops, Nginx kills the cvlc process too.

oh interesting, does this solution require the desktop GUI installed on the pi? The nice thing about omxplayer is that it ran on the bare Pi.

Now that I'm thinking about this again, another totally different option is to add support for YouTube's special RSS stuff to the parser that Aperture uses to fetch feeds. Is that an ugly option? Yes. Would it work well? Yes.

There's no way I can manage more than 1 vid a week right now, but I have been doing 1/wk consistently since January! Also been doing weekly streams to 100 plus since 2020 now!

Yeah I mean that’s where all the hotels are. You’re fine if you walk east first. And most of the decent hotels are okay just a block from some dodgy shit. If you’re coming to down I would strongly recommend staying at Parker guest house or somewhere in Hayes valley…

@aaronpk With the wider, whole room render of the ktichen, definitely white to match the upper cabinets. With this smaller cropped-in view of the Black Fridge, blue to match the base cabinets. I vote WhOLE Kitchen view and white to match the upper cabinets.

It is interesting how different it looks when looking at the whole kitchen!
