I still want it to be the regular behaviour, but you can long press the share button in Twitter to get a system share sheet

The NFT thing is happening. I’ve minted an image, will mint a series, and will start by giving some away on Twitter, then holding a contest, then giving some more away on my next live show… THEN I’ll actually try to sell some! 😂
    Aaron Parecki
So what I'm hearing is this requires a marketing campaign to be successful 👻

Batteries are where I started! I needed something that could last 3 days for PG&E outages. The battery tech is just not there (would have been very expensive). So I got a generator. The solar is grid-tied and is purely to zero out my yearly power usage, not a backup to the grid.
    Aaron Parecki
That makes sense! Up in PDX the longest I've been without power is about 6 hours so far. I can't imagine 3 days!

Mostly picked a local company that looks promising, then trusted their advice. Once I decided not to do a battery it got very simple; basically which kind of panel and how many of them.
    Aaron Parecki
Why'd you end up going with no battery?

Apparently posting two possible thumbnails for your upcoming video is the new way to say “watch my video” without saying “watch my video”.

Probably works better than what I’ve been doing!

This isn't our real bathroom, but if we go with cement looking floor tile, which wall tile do you think we'd still be happy with in 20 years?
    Aaron Parecki
I really like the look of B but I can't tell how I will feel about it in 20 years! I am particularly interested in this because I'm gonna be going thru these same decisions in a couple months!

They’re made by Microsoft. What’s your thought now?
    Aaron Parecki
tbh they're one of the few companies I'd trust to support the hardware long term given their track record, so sure!

If you could add 20 years to your life, but had to replace most of your body with robotics, would you do it?
    Aaron Parecki
Yes as long as the robot parts are not internet-connected and not made by Facebook or Google 😅

There is controversy after a Member's objection to the #DID Proposed Recommendation (PR). Before more people jump to wrong conclusions: This is one Member's opinion. Objections are part of our open standards process https://www.w3.org/2020/Process-20200915/#rec-track A PR is not yet endorsed by W3C.
    Aaron Parecki
Where can non-member individuals express their support of Mozilla’s position? Or does the W3C only care about the opinion of organizations that are paying them?

Selling a digital image for a ton of money is a trap? Please, elaborate.
    Aaron Parecki
It costs money to "mint" an NFT before you can sell it.

@aaronpk Ok cool, thanks for the suggestion!

    Aaron Parecki
I will caveat this with saying that I haven't actually touched my Switch since like May last year. I used to bring it on planes and I had fun in Animal Crossing at the beginning of the pandemic, but I get the sense we have similar feelings about gaming in general.

Anyone have a game suggestion for the Nintendo Switch that is super easy, hard to fail at, and is good for non-gamers like myself?

I know I ask this every 6 months or so, but it's because I can never find anything and I give up.

    Aaron Parecki
If you like puzzle games, Mini Metro is great, also Splitter Critters. Art of Balance is a calming puzzle game that gets more difficult gradually in a nice way.
