Want to have an iOS widget for your received #indieweb mentions?

I used the Glimpse app (https://apps.apple.com/se/app/glimpse-2/id1524217845) to embed my https://voxpelli.com/mentions page as a widget 🙌

Very cool, I might have to steal that CSS too

Almost 1 year in and my 16” MBP has been a champ. No regrets buying it. Only wish I bought it with more SSD.

If I was willing to spend that much on a computer I would absolutely buy that

I just got a phone call from an iphone which triggered several tabs of gmail in my web browsers, my phone, facetime, and i think somewhere else ringing. It basically killed my laptop, facetime crashed, and I couldn't answer the phone. WTF people.

This happens to me on a regular basis. Throw in bluetooth headphones into the mix (who knows which device they're currently connected to!) and I have basically zero idea what will happen if I manage to click on any one of the dozen things popping up in my face.

Did you know you can use your @sounddevices MixPre with MixAssist to automix for your post workflow? Play back the individual tracks from your DAW via USB and set the inputs to the USB channels.

Stop making me want to buy a MixPre 🤣

in canada a 12 pro max starts at 1549.

a pocket 4k is 1299 here.

The real question is whether the return policy on the iPhone is long enough to finish a video

Alright. Don’t live react Apple Events on YouTube. Noted.

Oops. I know someone else who did that a while ago and then couldn't livestream for like 3 months.

iPhone 12 Pro Max for a-roll. Tele at 65mm for some background separation.

iPhone 12 Pro as your overhead camera.

iPhone 12 Mini for editing.

are you making this video or am i?

That sounds like an expensive video 😅

They showed a USB-C to lightning cable.

I will admit I am only paying half attention trying to also catch up on my accounting

It’s still lightning?!

I think I just heard USB-C but it kind of flew by! Interesting they didn't make a big deal out of that

I don't really have an upload "schedule" for my YouTube videos, but I'm thinking of posting on Tuesdays/Thursdays (potentially Sundays for vlogs). What's your upload schedule like and why?

My upload schedule is the Tuesday morning after whenever I manage to finish a video, or sooner if I'm too excited about it and can't stop myself from sharing it 😂

@aaronpk I’ve thought about adding this sensor. But I don’t think my inside vs outside would be much different. But after seeing yours I am thinking about it more.

It's been surprising to see the difference now! Especially since getting an air filter for inside.

I’m gonna say it now… I’m hosting an epic YouTuber party with piles of meat and alcohol once this thing is over, for those who’ll travel to my little corner of Oregon.

Looks like there's a good bike path from Medford to Ashland? I've been wanting an excuse to fly with my folding bike somewhere!

Most of my comment pruning is in banning/deleting.

I answer comments for the first hour a video is live, then I try and cultivate a place where people can respectfully talk amongst themselves.

I like this. What's your trick for handling all the questions I assume you get via email? I feel bad ignoring them, but I also actually can't respond to everyone.

I just realized I never went jet-skiing with @johnhilltube because I never followed through booking a time after buying on groupon 😑 UGH
Is why companies do groupon? It must happen all of the time

That happened to me with a helicopter ride like 10 years ago. I doubt that guy's going to accept my groupon anymore 😆
