From what I’ve seen of Matt’s drone work, they’ve come a hell of a long way in the last ten-fifteen years

    drone long exposures!
    Aaron Parecki
I am impressed that drones are stable enough that long exposures work!

I'm probably misunderstanding - https://indieweb.org/Getting_Started - the web services part is where I am/was getting confused!
    Aaron Parecki
We've been working hard on fighting the idea that being on the IndieWeb is only if you build a website from scratch, so we may have gone a bit far in the opposite direction with that page. Will try to clear it up!

Apparently I can't be a member of IndieWeb because my website isn't on WordPress, Blogger or Micro? Is that for real, or am I missing something?
    Aaron Parecki
What on earth gave you that idea? If it's a page on the IndieWeb wiki we can definitely fix that.

We just shelled out for portland-based non alcoholic cocktail delivery from https://forbitterforworse.com/ a few weeks ago, and would HAPPILY get some from suckerpunch.

uh… I guess I have some work to do
    Aaron Parecki
lol I have this problem too! At least you collapse your “likes” and “reposts” sections by default! I’m thinking about adding a “show more comments” button that you have to click in order to show more than the last 20 or so comments.

I was aware of the zero-day. Thought that the “showstopper bug” you alluded to was a second, new security issue.

    Thanks for the clarification.
    Aaron Parecki
Still bad, but not on the security side this time. Just a blocker for us to deploy a new feature.

    @aaronpk

    Hm,
I would go for a larger font size then.
Before your posts had about 80 characters per line which is still fine but 110 feels too wide for me …

    https://baymard.com/blog/line-length-readability

    Aaron Parecki
Yeah I was thinking about that, kinda forgot about it cause the current width isn't too bad but I'll probably bump it a little. I don't want to make it responsive sizing so I need to pick something that also isn't too big on a small screen.

    Aaron Parecki
One of the last times I packed a bag before ~this whole thing~ I threw my back out by literally putting a sock into my suitcase and I had to cancel that whole trip
