@MitchWagner The nice thing about Discourse is I'm pretty sure we can extend it to allow signing in with Micro.blog accounts. I'd want to test a few things before deciding, though.

Anyone have recommendations for self-hostable calendar servers? Link below has a list, but am looking for experiences using or hosting them.

@aaronpk Oof, wish I had known about the lifetime pass. I spent $180 on monthly passes before canceling.

I don't mind paying for stuff but Plex is just so far beyond what I need. I have media files on a server, I want to stream them to a few devices. I don't want to sign in and have all these other extras.

@aaronpk I just feel like I hit walls at every turn. I was just prompted to pay $4.99 so I could play media from my local network on my tablet. They're targeting a niche that's Not Me.

I don't know what #Plex is doing but I know I don't want it.

@aaronpk I love the great quality of content and video/audio on your videos.

I'm helping out with https://foss-north.se/ which we now moved and are doing as a online conference with all the speakers via zoom, I'm mostly worried about their audio setup.
