I just got these reflective holographic OAuth stickers made and they are kind of the best thing ever
ok if you're wondering where you can get one of these stickers, find me at an event we're both at and I will give you one! If you can't wait that long, I put a few up for sale here and I will mail one to you! (p.s. there are cat stickers there too!)
Because the main Discover timeline is limited to recent posts for now, a good way to see more photos from people on Micro.blog during the photo challenge is to go to the web and click Discover, choose 📷 Photos from the popup, and then click More Photos.
is there a jsonfeed or microformats feed of that page I can follow in my reader?
Before I type any credentials into this $300 Walmart laptop, how do I know it wasn't owned at factory with malware/keyloggers? I've only ever installed stock windows before. Weird to trust whatever's on rando disk. (will add second disk with Linux later, but don't have it yet)
Definitely reinstall. Unfortunately I have no advice on how, it's been a decade since I've installed Windows.
If I lived in London I would be all over this. But why isn’t it a website?! It would probably have been cheaper for them to develop and would allow them to serve a far wider set of people. My guess is: a consultant fleeced them.
It's probably a website wrapped in a native app too 😭
There are many problems with delivering one-time codes via SMS, so I was very curious to see which of these this proposal is tackling. It was not immediately obvious from the Introduction and Goal sections which specific piece this is attempting to solve.
I would appreciate some additional text clarifying the scope of this, so that a reader doesn't go into this expecting it to, for example, solve SMS code phishing. I think two things could help clarify this proposal:
• describing the user experience that implementing this proposal will provide to end users • describing who is expected to implement this proposal (website owners? mobile phone vendors?)
