@ricfink A mix of Seagate and WD, but it’s the Synology that’s failed twice. The third Synology has been fine so far tho!

At this point I'm thinking a couple USB 4TB drives that rsync to another set that sync to Backblaze is a better option. Fewer moving parts.

I recently had to RMA my device twice because the controller kept failing. The drives were all fine each time tho.

@mattb I have a 5x4TB RAID6 (2 redundant) but IME the hardware around the drives fails more often than the drives themselves.

Thanks! I actually just finished the technical side of it this morning. Turns out it was more about doing things like writing conditional text for things like "the figure above" instead of "figure 1.4" since the figure numbering happened in the HTML->PDF toolchain step. I think I have a finished epub and mobi file now, so I just have to figure out the distribution step through Lulu.com now. (It's also made slightly complicated by the rev share agreement, so I can't just go wild with distribution or direct online sales of it.)

@dominik Yep, finished up the prep work of the epub/kindle version this morning, still working out the distribution details!
