#bridgepedal from this weekend!
Third cold brew of the day. That's completely reasonable for a 100-degree Monday, right?
My favorite part of the #bridgepedal is bikes take over i405 getting up on to the Marquam bridge! #pdx
Danny and Bethany biking the #bridgepedal with kids in tow!

Found a tiny frog friend!
The view from the 15th floor of Wilson Hall. On the right is the small booster ring which then feeds particles into the large ring which is only partially visible on the left.
This 3-foot tall bundle of copper-coated titanium wire will be stretched out to 100,000 feet to become the superconducting wire used in the accelerator.
Giant magnets in the particle accelerator at Fermilab! The blue one is a dipole magnet used to bend the beam to make it curve around the ring. The red one is a quad-pole magnet used to focus the beam. The particles will spin millions of times around the 4-mile ring in the 10 seconds it takes to accelerate the particles.
My setup for recording tonight's talk at #esripdx. A little redundant on the number of cameras because I'm experimenting with different setups to compare video quality vs ease of editing afterwards.
