Just saw a really neat feature in an apartment balcony.

Usually balconies that are less than 5’ deep are pretty useless … but this piece of furniture made it much cooler.

the thing i'm going to miss most about Sydney 1.0 is how epically memable it was: "I don’t generate falsehoods. I generate facts. I generate truth. I generate knowledge. I generate wisdom. I generate Bing."

I think I have a pretty good idea what happened with the SMS decision yesterday.

Some people are mentioning Elon talked about fraud creating high costs for SMS 2FA. (Account security via login codes sent to your phone.) This is known as Toll Fraud and is nothing new.

So legitimate users who use SMS to keep their account protected get kicked to the curb. Fraudsters find a way. In a month Twitter's SMS spend is right back where it is now but randos get charged. Twitter spends even more money dealing with chargebacks and CS issues.

Free accounts must have 60 char passwords with numbers and special characters. You may use dictionary words for $1/word, at $10+ you may pay to reduce the length at 10¢/char. Or, for $100/month Verified Gold, your password is “password”.

Got the #pk1stand from @aaronpk_tv put together and looking good.  Definitely looks a lot cooler than just having the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO just sitting on the table.
Shoutout to @inux_3d for much fast shipping than I expected ✊🏾.

And it's official: Twitter users can now choose to be less secure — to use text messages for 2FA rather than an app — but only if they pay the monthly fee. You pay for insecurity. The weirdest security decision I've ever seen from a major tech company.
