Whoever says “but echo chamber” doesn’t realize that the opinions they want you to find fresh, exciting, and challenging are actually the same stale bigotry we’ve seen a thousand times, and can dismiss on sight.

Seriously. I’m not automatically hostile to NEW ideas, but I think it’s pretty reasonable to be hostile to the old, very very bad ones.

JFC. Any security advice that requires abortion-seekers to become Jason Bourne is not advice--it's just opsec masturbation. Keep it simple. Keep it actionable. Keep it directly relevant to existing threats.

The other day I added up that a “typical” video takes somewhere between 17 and 20 hours from start to finish.

Very few free products would make that amount of time worth it.

A free product to make a video!
Sweet, just gonna plan the video, write everything down, spend time shooting the b roll, shoot the talking head, reshoot some stuff, spend a bunch of hours editing the video, shoot the thumbnail, do the SEO, and then we’re done!
    Is it worth it?

Just a reminder that you’re not reviewing a product if you’re getting paid for it. And calling it such is not only a massive disservice and misleading to your viewers - but to all the other reviewers whose jobs you make harder by muddying the waters.
