Really hard not to see web3 as primarily being about the transfer of value from newcomers to early adopters

I'll form an opinion on Web3 as long as three different people agree on what it is.

I've been a paying Spotify customer for music since the day it launched in the US, but its continued moves to takeover and lock up the podcast space has me reconsidering that entirely. I don't want to support a company locking up the open internet.

It is possible to be enthusiastic about decentralised identifiers, while skeptical of DIDs. That's pretty much where I am so far.
