Imagine going to an Identity Management tech conference and learning how to build a better personal identity in tech. Genius!

I have spent the entire #DeveloperDay session looking ABOVE the camera, which makes it look like I am in some mystical trance... whereas @aaronpk, always the expert videographer, looks straight into the camera :)

This was an excellent session from @aaronpk and @vibronet on the past and future of OAuth!

Future stuff they mentioned:

- RAR: Rich Authorization Requests (so you can add more to consent screens)
- Sender-Constrained Access Tokens (to verify the sender)

All in all – a multi-channel approach / omni-channel approach to community building, making sure that everyone can engage in some way and that everyone feels included, yet that there is good progress.

A well maintained and curated wiki combined with the brainstorming-enabling, always-logged, searchable IRC (that is bridged to Slack, and Discord) is surprisingly nice.

Discord/IRC + a wiki + GitHub repos + GitHub issues?

I think the @indiewebcamp / @microformats community has a very good setup for this

Hey, so we XR folks talk a lot about standards-based auth and id but I often see a blind spot about how it currently works for enterprises using the web. Aaron knows his stuff and Okta is a nexus which will probably play a part of any future immersive web.

What's a reason someone would have for buying a cheap one on sale? What would it be used for?

From my personal experience: DO NOT buy a cheap one, unless you want a new hobby fixing it all day every day. If you just want it to print whenever you need something, buy a Prusa. There are probably good cheaper ones out there, but I (and friends) had a horrible experience w/ em
