I don't know who needs to see it, but this breakdown of the nuances between the roles that make up the general spectrum of what DevRel is – is a very helpful thing to identify and consider when building teams. 🙌 https://devrel.net/dev-rel/is-developer-relations-the-same-thing-as-community-management

@PBOTinfo @tedwheeler why do you prioritize ticketing for "no front plate", which endangers no one, but can't prioritize "daylighting" at intersections, which is literally killing people?

We had a record number of submissions this year, which meant we could not fit all of the great proposals into the 4 days as is! We wish we could extend the conference by a week or more to fit it all in!

I actually labbed this type of environment for release testing at a prior employer. Drove the devs nuts, but reminding them they were building this app for their users in mobile environments was important.

And this made our clients very very happy. It also became a key talking point for corporate sales of our service.

Every time you pay rent instead of putting that money toward your own home, you’re flushing money down the toilet.

Every time you buy groceries instead of a farm, same thing.

Don’t even get me started on aluminum foil.

hot take: Adobe would not be the juggernaut it is today if it clamped down on piracy of Photoshop. Every HS/college kid I knew in the 90s (including me) had a cracked copy of Photoshop, then got a job that purchased a copy (and everyone is an Adobe Creative Cloud customer today)
