Stupid font idea for someone willing to do the work: Helveticarial, a derived font whose stroked outlines consist entirely of the bits and pieces left over when you subtract the overlapping regions of each Helvetica and Arial glyph.

After 7 years as a software engineer on the Safari team, I’m trying something new! I’m now managing a new team at Apple whose goal is to solve the problems people have with accounts, authentication, and passwords. I’m really, really excited!

Tweaks Ali Spittel’s face tracking filter demo to include a “snapshot” button that creates an image you can right-click and save.

Next up: can I make this into a Micropub client to post directly to my site?
