Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.
Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

I clicked “not interested in this ad” for perhaps 5 times already, and every time I open Twitter I see it again.
I really am not the target audience for that service, what’s the point? Was this a ploy to get me to retweet/amplify this? It worked 😛

@aaronpk it's probably doable with AppleScript, but I haven't used AppleScript in probably 20 years to know for sure

@aaronpk I imagine having a "scaffolded" structure generated automatically and just double checking it is way less work than having to write it down all by yourself 👍
Yeah it definitely took a little bit of copy editing to get the summaries right, but it's a lot quicker than doing it all from scratch. Plus I want captions for the videos anyway so I am also using the result of that middle step! -

WV temps swing wildly in a normal year, but the shift last night was especially crazy: from 45 degrees to -2 in about 6-7 hours. And it’ll be in the sixties again next week 🙃
