It's gonna be a while before AI takes all our jobs though.

Or maybe not, since it speaks with the confidence of a mediocre white man while gaslighting me throughout this whole reply.

chatGPT is great for when I'm too high to figure out how to ask a real search engine and I don't really care if the answer is right

I can't tell if showing views on twitter is like showing the number of views on youtube (great! people who watched my videos!) or like showing the number of people who saw my thumbnail and didn't click (not so great, people who chose not to engage)

    AI is cool.

I just finished recording and editing 20 new video lessons for a course.

Uploaded the videos to Sonix and it created a (mostly) accurate transcript.

Uploaded the transcript to ChatGPT and asked it to create a summary of the lesson for the landing page!
    Aaron Parecki
I feel like this is particularly notable because while I enjoy explaining things, I really don't enjoy creating the "wrapper" content around it (like title and thumbnail on youtube, or summary of a video course lesson), so I'm happy to let the AI get me 90% of the way there!

Yes this is clearly an endorsement not only of dense housing, but also of public transportation, walking, biking. Cities are key to reducing emissions.

I don't want to abolish cars. I want public transit to be improved so much that no one bothers to own cars unless they need them for things you can't do with public transit.

I feel the same way. I recently purchased an RG351v in hopes of playing the games that I loved as a kid. It lasted all of two days and now the device sits in my drawer :/

    Aaron Parecki
wow that one looks nice too!

The games I liked as a kid were: snake, Commander Keen, Warcraft, Starcraft, SimCity 2000, and that's pretty much it. My favorite Switch game is Mario Kart.

But now my games are building little indieweb tools and stuff.

With all the hubbub around password managers today I’m so grateful for the foresight my mother had when she was younger changing her maiden name to a randomly generated 18 character word that resets itself every 30 days. #InfoSec #Security #LastPass
