This is a criticism I see a lot, and I think this person approached it in as polite a way as possible, so here are my thoughts for everyone who isn't as diplomatic about it:

Maybe I misunderstood the sentence but I was expecting something like « OpenID Connect is covered in more details in *some chapter* » with a link to the chapter.
    Aaron Parecki
Oops I was looking at the wrong sentence. You're right, looks like something went wrong with the pre processor that adds the chapter links.

What is the absolute closest thing to GitHub Gist that can be self-hosted?

In terms of design and functionality. Hosts images and markdown, rendered. Creates links that can be private or public. Uses/requires registration.

I have looked at dozens of pastebin-like things.

@aaronpk hey ! I'm reading your OAuth book right now and it's great! Isn't there a word missing here? This is the "Signing with Google" chapter.

Maybe not the most technically correct English but it sounds okay to me

  • Should you record on the ATEM Mini or use an external HDMI recorder?

Let's see what the difference is between recording with the built in recording feature on the ATEM Mini vs recording with an external high quality recorder like a Blackmagic Video Assist.

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
