@aaronpk do you boil the glasses in water so that they're sterile after closing them up?

    Aaron Parecki
Yeah when I'm properly canning them I'll do that, when I am planning on keeping them around more than 6 months. It's already full of acid and vinegar so it keeps a long time in the fridge even when not sealed and sterilized properly. We go through hot sauce extremely quickly since it's a key component of breakfast every day.

    Habanero Hot Sauce

    Aaron Parecki
Made about 100oz of hot sauce tonight! Not properly canned, just poured into jars.

I skimmed over the docs for GPME:Crypto and didn't see any specific information regarding key expectations. I don't know Ruby. Any way you could have the application spit out more information than "There was a problem!"? Would make it easier to figure out what is failing exactly.
    Aaron Parecki
Yeah I should make it bubble up the error better. I just checked the logs and it looks like your key.txt URL is returning 404

Yep, I tried with `--clearsign` as well as `--sign --armor` and both game me a "There was a problem!" message. Tried doing it from both Mac and Windows just in case there was some funny business happening. Do you have more information on the expectations of the key?
    Aaron Parecki
i'm not totally sure, but this is the code it uses to verify in case you want to try to track it down https://github.com/aaronpk/indielogin.com/blob/main/pgp/app.rb

OAuth is the name of a very popular thing on the internet that lets people connect their Facebook accounts to apps. It made a lot of money for the people who invented it.

@aaronpk Hey Aaron, do you know if PGP is working correctly for Webmentions sign-in? I get a very vague "There was a problem!" no matter how I choose to sign the challenge. I saw other reports on GitHub as well. https://github.com/aaronpk/indielogin.com/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+pgp
    Aaron Parecki
It should be working, but it's kind of picky about the format. Did you try all the variations listed here? https://github.com/aaronpk/indielogin.com/issues/66
