Batteries are where I started! I needed something that could last 3 days for PG&E outages. The battery tech is just not there (would have been very expensive). So I got a generator. The solar is grid-tied and is purely to zero out my yearly power usage, not a backup to the grid.

That makes sense! Up in PDX the longest I've been without power is about 6 hours so far. I can't imagine 3 days!

Mostly picked a local company that looks promising, then trusted their advice. Once I decided not to do a battery it got very simple; basically which kind of panel and how many of them.

Why'd you end up going with no battery?

While the ''lifestyle business'' approach to YouTube can work, most 10m+ channels are operating like rapidly growing media companies, not individuals.

Just got my BC Vaccination Card, and I have to say, it's pretty cool to see the work that came out of OAuth being used to implement standardized, interoperable & privacy-protecting vaccination cards.

For those saying that the graph looks more complicated than it needs to be, the imperial system is more complicated than it needs to be.
The graph represents that perfectly fine

ICANN is my go-to example for minimum viable governance. They have not been perfect, but if we need a system for balancing subjective interests between domain-holders and trademark-holders it's hard to think of an obviously better way. And yes, I have seen all the cryptos.

Hereโ€™s how we hid this lavalier under a t-shirt for todayโ€™s session: moleskin and transpore tape. This is the shirt turned inside out, of course. Worked well, minimal rustle. @shure Twinplex TL48
