I mean you could always chew on coffee beans with cold tap water, hoping your body heat will be sufficient to warm it up... 😱

You know... chocolate covered coffee beans are a thing, so maybe resorting to eating plain coffee beans isn't the worst idea

the power went out at 6am with no indication of when it'll be back, so I hand ground some coffee beans and will now find out if you can make french press coffee with hot tap water

Update: it made a liquid that is the color of coffee!

I think this is the move. Luke warm water to make coffee is usually quite disappointing mud water.

My theory was the lukewarm water would make the cold press process go faster..?

Also I don't wanna wait 12 hours for my first coffee of the day 😭

I particularly enjoyed the one about the fact that there's a *lot* of solar energy (and if we just harnessed all of that, the oceans would freeze and all photoautotrophs would die but we could run bitcoin servers for at least another thousand years)

At this point I just instablock anyone who shows up in my mentions with the name of any coin or crypto* in their profile. If they self-ID with it then nothing good happens.

I think you will find the Bitcoin fanboys are more than willing to debate/discuss with anyone who has some valid criticism of Bitcoin.

I'm sure there are some completely reasonable people willing to discuss it. However those are not the people in my mentions right now 🙄
