    Idk when Americans will understand that they only cut jobs so the owners/investors will keep making the same amount of money, not because they CAN’T afford to pay people more. They just don’t want to take a pay cut. It has nothing to do with saving jobs.

    More seriously. For all the technologies that are no longer in use, how do you pick the date of their demise on the timeline?
    In some cases, there are still production systems using them- wstrust, fed being examples. I doubt that’s true of openid, but where do you draw the line?

    There are still a few OpenID 1 providers and consumers left! I run a provider and am still surprised that it gets traffic.
