    My setup from 2015.

@Sony #RX100M2 mounted on @rodemics's #PSA1 boom arm. A skater for beauty shots.

    That's it.

I continue to struggle supporting @WordPress customers who have paid extra for the premium business hosting, and ironically have to jump through hoops to authorize XMLRPC connections. I wish they would fix this. https://help.red-sweater.com/marsedit/two-factor-authentication/
    Aaron Parecki
This is exactly the reason for OAuth, which moves the two-factor auth problem away from the app developer and into the account provider. IndieAuth is a way to do OAuth for independent sites like WordPress.

Believe it or not the current times don’t impact it because it was always non-essential and bought by ppl with more disposable income.

That said, anything that taps into current culture tends to win.

There is a lot of opportunity right now that’s not saturated.

I will happily pay for a full year of @squarespace at full price right now if someone from their marketing team is willing to explain how sponsoring every podcast and youtube channel under the sun makes sense for their marketing budget.

I want a slide deck, with numbers.

What an appropriate time to be in the same company as @DebtFreeGuys and @gabydunn as a queer personal finance resource in @Forbes - right when I'm doing a series about trans healthcare being under attack in the US and UK.

Strikes me that those who prop up policing and catastrophize the “defund the police” movement through incantations of “what about violent crime” need to confront how poor the current system is at addressing violent crime. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3566383

I wear a mask because if the experts are correct, I could potentially prevent someone from getting sick and dying. If the experts are wrong, the most I’m out is the inconvenience of wearing a piece of fabric on my face.

I often wonder who raised some of y’all.
