@aaronpk I used to play Yugioh over chat client where everyone played their cards physically in real life and put in chat their plays, but that requires a considerable degree of trust that no one’s cheating. With friends, though, perfectly possible, especially if you’re playing caveman Yugioh (or synchro era or earlier in general really.)

Does anyone have a list of card games where the mechanics allow it to be played remotely? Not online games tho, games that use real physical cards, where it doesn't matter that the players will be drawing from separate decks.

Ugh, I know that I'll feel a million times better if I go exercise, but that would mean being responsible rather than laying here scrolling the sadness rectangle.

Emerson, my 11 year old, is on a bit of a wild ride with the @USPS and our local mail carrier, Doug.

And, I think there’s a deeper message to it all.

    First, the backstory...

We had to remove this sort of token for a messaging app. People kept using it in production apps, and distributing it. Oh, hey, I can impersonate you through the api now!

When you compose the thumbnail but forget you set your camera to 4:3 for some family pictures...and you remember right when you sit down and import everything into photoshop. 😭

I’ve definitely had to “content-aware fill” some photos because of that 🤦‍♂️

I 100% went to bed thinking that today was going to be Monday. I was ready - clicked on the video call for the first meeting and waited 4 minutes before realizing that it’s Sunday.

    It finally got me. Lol.

I think that's distant enough, lots of photography answers in this thread. So you'd make the gear or use it?
    Aaron Parecki
I've been making videos about how to use different kinds of cameras and streaming gear. It's a nice break from the tech world even if there's still some tech aspect to it.

How long before we hear “zoom” “zooming” or “zoom love” in a pop song? Then you’ll know you made it @ericsyuan 😉👊

If you were just going to walk away from tech entirely what would you do instead?
    Aaron Parecki
Define tech? Cause I've been enjoying getting into the camera gear YouTube world lately which is completely different from software development tech

Totally—it’s a beautiful phone. I often carry a separate camera, and prefer small, cheap and simple.
    Aaron Parecki
‪Yeah I'm leaning that direction too. Even tho the iPhone camera is pretty good, a camera with a bigger sensor (RX100 or G7X) is still so much better. If I'm gonna post a picture I care about the quality, I'll use a real camera. The iPhone is good for random photos of my cat.‬

I wasn't thrilled about FaceID when it launched, but the other features of the XS were worth it since I was upgrading from the 6S.
