Anyone else find this as bad of a UI/UX design as I doโ€ฆ on iOS, the key to switch to emoji (1) sits between the numbers and the space bar, making it far too easy to hit accidentally, but then the real problem is that the delete key (2) *moves* when you change keyboards. (1/2)

So if you accidentally switch to emoji keyboard while typing fast you'll then inadvertently add an emoji. You then want to delete said emoji, so you tap where the delete key just was โ€” but it's moved, so you add another emoji!!

lol yes this happens to me at least once a day and it's incredibly annoying

I'm making a board game about the craziness that is driving around Boston. We've just launched the crowd funding campaign, check it out: http://gridlock.info/

Want: An audio mixer, explicitly NOT for recording studio or stage use, but rather for mixing multiple stereo audio sources on my desk (PC, Mac, Alexa, etc.) into a single stream to be fed into desktop speakers. Minimal/no knobs preferred. Does something like that even exist?
    Aaron Parecki
Itโ€™ll be tough to find one with no knobs, but try searching for โ€œline mixersโ€. I have the Samson SM10, it fits in a 1U rack mount, or you could mount it under the desk.

An AI self-driving trolley with *fully functional* brakes heads down a track. The AI recognizes 5 people on the track ahead.

    Does the trolley:
    1. Engage the brakes, saving lives
    2. Kill the people. Handling jaywalking was not a stakeholder requirement

    Ethics are so COMPLICATED!

My new approach: if a car seems to be heading towards me and I'm about to be run over, I shall shout "npm update" as loud as I can.

    Or maybe "Alexa, npm update".

Of course, they probably use yarn.
