@aaronpk Agreed. Desktop apps that try to update on launch are the worst. I'm interested in finding gentler update notification styles.

@maxticket Maybe an indicator that a new version is available or that a new feature was launched rather than actually interrupting the app

@maxticket I think the problem is that I often don't open an app until I need it, so anything that gets in the way of me doing the thing is annoying.
