@benwerd I think the "own domain" requirement is is a huge impediment to distributed social media systems...
@danlyke @benwerd That's only because existing registrars and regulations make it harder than getting a twitter account. Also have you tried making a new Google account recently? They keep adding steps and asking for more and more info. We can do better. We need someone to make domain registration simple. -
