    @aaronjorbin yeah, I think I'll get some smooth boards of some kind (chipboard? MDF?) and hang it/paint it.
    Aaron Parecki
    @natronics If you want a whiteboard, they sell 4'x8' tileboard at home depot for like $15, could screw that into the wall.

    I think I want a big chalkboard in my room.
    Aaron Parecki
    @natronics do it! You can get chalkboard paint to turn any wall into a chalkboard!

    Revisiting old Javascript I wrote before jQuery was around always hurts my head a little bit.

    @avimarcus It's working fine for me, I wonder if it has something to do with the IP address you're using it from?

    Integrating "sign in with Twitter" can be super painful. But it's very slick for the user when it's done right, so it's worth it.

    Do you prefer your software to refer to you as "you" or "me?"
    Aaron Parecki
    @krees I think "you/your" is better, here's Yahoo's take on it: http://developer.yahoo.com/ypatterns/social/core/yourvmy.html

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
