@aaronpk How often I would get called ma’am was a running joke with me and friends through my late 20s and 30s. 😆 Took growing a mustache for it to stop — and apparently being in my 40s, since it hasn’t happened in a while.

@aaronpk When I was in my early 20s I worked as a substitute for a multi-site childcare organization. One morning a family was dropping off their kid and the father referred to me as “he” (accurate) and the mom attempted to covertly whisper a corrective “she” at him. This is a photo that was taken of me around that time. 🤷
