Feature request for all calendar apps:

Let me temporarily switch my calendar into a different timezone so I can better plan events in my home timezone when I am traveling.

This is why I was using a paper planner in 2019.

@aaronpk and, on mobile without a keyboard, VimCal has a "command center" button at bottom of screen.

      Here's a quick screen recording!

      Of note:
      - Base timezone is EDT
      - Creating a new event assumes base timezone, but specific TZ can be set (like with any calendar)
      - Using "time travel" updates view to an alternate timezone
      - Creating a new event in time travel mode assumes alternate timezone (can override)
      - Tap blue banner at top of screen any time to get back to base timezone

@aaronpk VimCal does exactly this! Press "Z" to pop open the timezone selector, type a few characters of the location you want, press enter, boom: your calendar view is shifted to show the new timezone (with the original timezone's times still visible for reference)!

🤯 I had to go into advanced settings and turn on "timezone override" before that option was available but that's exactly what I wanted! Thanks!

So actually Fantastical is my main calendar on Mac and iOS, and all I can figure out is showing the second timezone on the right side of the view and showing the time zones in an event. But I want to quickly switch the entire calendar back and forth

Essential. @flexibits Fantastical (Mac and iOS) is my pick and has this.

@aaronpk Fantastical allows you override the system timezone and/or to simultaneously display all times in a secondary timezone. (One of the many reasons I use it.)

This is promising. On iOS you have to dig in to the settings app to change it though.

I know a few apps have dual timezone support, which works fine for small differences like west coast east coast, but doesn't work well once you're crossing the date line

You can do this with Google calendar, I have recently learned.

@aaronpk Apple Calendar actually does this the best, just turn on Time Zone support in Settings and Advanced ... assuming you're on MacOS
