I've been making so many graphics in Keynote lately for use in videos and blog posts, but I really wish there was a quick keyboard shortcut to export the current slide as a PNG. Right now it takes about 9 clicks to export a slide.-
most of the time, I just screenshot it on my retina display. good enough for most uses still..

I definitely can do it. As for stopping clicks from working, I actually can't do that, so I'm not entirely sure what happened. Ask on the forum (forum.keyboardmaestro.com) if you need some help making the macro.

@aaronpk Uh oh. I had a quick look at that export and could see the stumbling block with choosing PNG rather than JPG. My expertise ran out on that one but if you wanted to persevere there's a Forum where someone would know how to do it.

@aaronpk If you're a Mac user this is where Keyboard Maestro really earns its keep. Set up the steps then assign a trigger — could be a keystroke, or click a button, for example. I have all kinds of things set up in KM that work like that.
