I just finished downloading my whole Flickr account to a static website. Now browsing around it is much faster than looking at the same photos on Flickr, and it makes me want to get back to actually organizing my photos again!-

@aaronpk super to know. I wonder if Flickr embeds geolocation into EXIF data when I drop photos onto Flickr's maps. I'm going to download a few to see

@aaronpk were you able to download Flickr albums and keep photos associated with your albums? I have more than 30,000 Flickr photos and think I would need to spend a weekend sorting downloaded content.

After downloading all the different resolutions Flickr has, it turned into 255gb on disk. Not bad, would even fit on a thumb drive.

@aaronpk I just started using google photos for making albums and delivering them to people who might be interested. I am REALLY liking this.
