    Hello internet friends!

What is the best way to share a set of photos with a select few people, while being able to add more photos over an extended period of time? Must not rely on creating an account like on iCloud.

I have my own thoughts but I am interested in other ideas!

To be clear, open source is nice but not a requirement. However I don't want to require that someone who has no current affiliation with a big name like Apple/Google/Amazon have to create an account on that service.

I'm pretty sure there's still a free version that allows up to 2Gb of storage ( pretty similar to Dropbox in functionality really)

@aaronpk i haven’t tried it, but I believe you can request people to add files to a folder in Dropbox without an account, and share a link that allows viewing of the folder as well.

I'm glad it works but that sounds like the most convoluted way to solve this 😅

I share vids and stuff with an Azure storage account and set a SAS key with an expiration. Then share the url.

I use Nextcloud to share certain photo albums with people and because it has a sync tool, they can sync the album to their computer if they want.

Dropbox public links let you view without an account, and that’s just a folder view. May not be good enough UX for photo browsing though.

Hm that looks nice but may be a bit more "pro" than what I'm looking for in this case

We use hightail for distributing audio/ video & artwork files - You could use that. You can send a group folder and have work spaces - You can also have password protected files/links.
