Thing I learned today: it's a good idea to occasionally take off the wheels of your rolly suitcase and clean them, because they pick up a lot of carpet fiber and hair from rolling around dozens of airports for a few years.

Hello friends, do you have your own web address? I know maybe you’re thinking, β€œI don’t need that!” or β€œthat’s too much work!” but I promise, if you’ve got an instagram account, then you should definitely have a little place of your own. It’s important, and can be very fun.

Does anyone in Portland have know what's up with the collapsing house at 33 N Fargo, surrounded by new apartment buildings? Who owns it? Why wouldn't they have sold it yet? https://www.portlandmaps.com/detail/property/33-N-FARGO-ST/R308611_did/
    Aaron Parecki
I remember hearing that they refused to sell when those apartments were being planned but I don't remember where I heard that now!

Micro Camp March 2022, in-person in Portland. It was a treat to be in the same room with people I feel like I already know, as well as others I’ve missed.

We will do some kind of in-person component for the next Micro Camp. I’d love to help people organize locally.

Micro Camp in Portland with nine microbloggers: Jean, Jason, Cheri, Halsted, Jon, Aaron, Sam and Manton

Hi, I'm Aaron Parecki, Director of Identity Standards at Okta, and co-founder of IndieWebCamp. I maintain oauth.net, write and consult about OAuth, and participate in the OAuth Working Group at the IETF. I also help people learn about video production and livestreaming. (detailed bio)

I've been tracking my location since 2008 and I wrote 100 songs in 100 days. I've spoken at conferences around the world about owning your data, OAuth, quantified self, and explained why R is a vowel. Read more.
