  @aaronpk for a while I mostly had two big rolls of magnets (dime sized super strong rare earth ones, easy to control, but now I've mostly used the magnets, & they're taped to all kinds of devices & surfaces, & I hadn't thought of this danger. I have some Nas drives that sit in toaster-style USB mounts, not really enclosed... definitely ripe for getting zapped!! yikes. hadn't thought of that.
