In the world of web security does anyone have a reference for the absolute and clear definition of host and domain? I see variance in some standards.

Video feed etiquette on large Zoom meetings when you are NOT presenting.

Generally having the video on makes for more authentic meetings, but for large gatherings I feel a bit like I am wandering on stage while someone else is speaking…

Well, IT does explain all this but people either don't like to read or deliberately leave it out when tweeting to sensationalize it and bash IT.

If your company is big enough to roll out a mandatory VPN on personal iOS devices, they are big enough to buy you a work phone https://twitter.com/gabrtv/status/1391951192176021505

I don't care whether the VPN is "not a traditional VPN", the company IT dept doesn't get to install anything on my personal devices that they control

My favorite provider to log in with is my own personal website, when possible via IndieAuth. (See https://github.com/shurcooL/home/issues/34 for relevant context.) GitHub is backup/second favorite.

It's amazing how much of game design comes down to helping players answer the question "what should I do next?"

There's so many approaches, but ultimately its about helping players be excited to tell the next part of the story.

Cisco knows a thing or two about security and did not require VPNs to access email or company messaging on mobile devices. Presumably those go over TLS anyway.

They did require strong passcodes and a device profile that allowed them to remote wipe lost devices.
    Aaron Parecki
oof I have mixed feelings on the remote wipe bit
