      I agree, it's not as trivial as installing Postfix. I do host my own and it's kind of disappointing that one of the oldest protocols has become is unusable for the average person. It's a poor comment on the state of the internet.

      Hey, remember when we thought it would be cool to store a couple million emails into a MySQL database, including their text/html parts? Hahaha, yeah, good times >.< That table's somewhere around 28GB now.

      I've heard pretty much only goo things about Fastmail, maybe it's time to finally give it a try. Only problem is I'd have to also migrate my family to it since we share a domain name for email.
