So I'm 2 days into making the switch from Google Analytics to @usefathom and I won't be looking back.

It's a win-win. Much easier-to-digest dashboard/UI for me, including nice, easy-to-implement goal tracking, and even better, privacy for those visiting my site.

I've been pretty happy with Fathom too. The one thing I miss is being able to see the referrers for a specific page on my site.

This is coming in Version 3. We have spent all of 2020 working on a balance between simplicity, privacy and marketing. We know that folks want to see more granular data, and Version 3 will be launching in April :)

Email newsletters? I ended up writing my own, it's still beta, a bit rough around the edges, but I'm running my own 500-ish subscriber newsletter from it. I'm going to open source it soon.

Hey! Everyone is smartening up. I’ve been screaming about this for years. BUILD YOUR OWN WEBSITE and direct people to it so they know where to find you in case you get banned, or the sites just disappear.
