    I like to think of myself as a somewhat organized person.

    But all these SD cards have photos and videos from different trips and projects and cameras, in no particular order, and I really need to sort out what has already been backed up and what exists only on the cards.

      I use ACDSee to rename all photo names to "yyyyMMddHHmmss" format using the EXIF data. You can also add other information if you have used multiple cameras/devices to take photos. It also has a pretty good duplicate finder, that can operate on separate folders.

      @aaronpk merkle tree compare disk directory and then have led light if they match. I’m high but this kinda makes sense in my head
